Here is a recipe for an awesome southwest inspired omelet. In addition to the ingredients, you will need a spatula and a stainless steel saucepan. Cooks beware: this little omelet packs quite a kick!
Ingredients:
½ cup shredded pepperjack cheese
1 chopped and seeded jalapeno
3 eggs
½ cup ground sausage
Tabasco, Salt, and fresh Pepper a Cilio pepper mill to taste
Cooking Spray
Directions:
To start, spray your cookware with cooking spray (melting a little butter works too). Set your stove top on medium-high, and brown your sausage, adding in the chopped jalapeno after it has browned. Next add your 3 eggs, and cook them until they begin to solidify. Sprinkle your shredded cheese on one side, then as the eggs finish, flip the opposite side onto the cheesy side. Add a bit of Tabasco for extra spice, and be sure to have orange juice or milk handy!
